Many of the popular dishes like salt and pepper chicken, black bean sauce, chicken cashew nuts etc all contain oyster sauce. It goes very well with soy sauce and definitely adds a depth of flavour to the dish even with just a spoonful. ![]()

My version of the Tonkatsu sauce is another simple but super yummy sauce containing oyster sauce, which I would like to share with you today. ![]()

1. Mix equal quantities of tomato ketchup, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce and light soy sauce. ![]()

2. Add a drizzle of honey to the mixture to balance the flavour. ![]()

You can use it for either a dipping sauce or a marinade. Give it a try and you will love it!
