Hi, my name is Rebecca and I love food!
Born and raised in Shanghai, enjoying home cooked meals with my family was part of my daily routine and I almost took it for granted. Moving to the UK in my late teens, I had to learn how to cook from scratch myself, then I realised how much effort it took whilst balancing other things happening in my life.
Over the years, my passion for food and a constant effort to convert fussy eaters in my own family has forced me to polish up my cooking skills. After quitting an amazing but ultimately stressful job (possibly my mid-life crisis), I decided to combine my passion for cooking with a burning desire to start my own business. And so, bexbox was born.
With far eastern roots and having lived and travelled in different parts of the world my aim, through bexbox, is to put my own interpretation on family favourites from a variety of cultures and cuisines. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy bexbox meals as much as my family does.
